Partner Film: Marvin, Ace Africa Kenya
This is Egmont's first Partner film.
13-year-old Marvin lost his parents to AIDS-related illnesses and has also had HIV since birth. He lives with his grandmother along with two cousins, also orphaned by AIDS. Marvin loves school and is among the top students in his class but he often comes to school hungry and weak and his work suffers when he is too sick to attend.
Egmont Partner Ace Africa provides essential emergency and long term support to families affected by HIV. With their support, Marvin is now on the right medication and has the nutrition he needs - and his health has vastly improved, so he can always attend school.
Today, Egmont continues to support the work of Ace Africa Kenya in a different commmunity and project.
